I think the number of young people who live with their parents after they finish their education will increase in the future.
将来、卒業後に親と同居する若者は増えると思います。
First, the cost of living is on the rise especially in big cities.
まず、都市では生活費が上がっています。
Meanwhile, pay is not rising as that much.
その一方で、給与はそれほど上がっていません。
They can save a lot of money by living with their parents.
親と同居することで、多くのお金を節約することができます。
The saved money could be used when they start their own family.
節約したお金を、自分の家族を持った時に使うこともできます。
So, it is reasonable for young people to live with their parents after graduation.
ですから、若者が卒業後に親と同居することは、理にかなっています。
Second, living with their parents brings advantages to the parents, too.
次に、親と同居することは、親にもメリットがあります。
Elderly parents, in particular, may find it safe to live with their children.
特に高齢の親は、子どもと住むことは安全だと感じることもあるでしょう。
Sadly, elderly people could be targeted for fraud and other crime.
悲しいことですが、高齢者は詐欺やその他の犯罪のターゲットになる可能性があります。
Their own children are more reliable than anyone else not to get involved in such crime.
そのような犯罪に巻き込まれないためには、自分の子どもが誰よりも頼りになります。
For these reasons, I think more and more young people will live with their parents in the future.
以上のような理由から、親と同居する若者は将来増えると思います。
