J：Yes, I remember going to events at the library when I was littel.

S：What kind of event was it ?

J：It was a reading event.
読み聞かせだったわ。
Someone would read a story to a group of children.
子どもたちに本を読んでくれたの。

S：Well, when I was little, my favorite event at the library was ...

J：It must be a sporting event ?
スポーツのイベントでしょ？
S：I like sports now, but I didn't like sports when I was little.
今はスポーツが好きなんだけど、子どものころは好きじゃなかった。
When I was little I loved puppets.
子どものころは、人形劇が大好きだったんだ。
J：Oh, that's right !
まあ、そうよね！
Lots of libraries do a puppet show.
多くの図書館で人形劇をやっているわ。
S：But as an adult, I've also been to events.
でも、大人になってもイベントに行ってるんだ。
There was a great event about butterflies.
蝶に関するすばらしいイベントがあったんだ。
That was a good event at a library near my mom's house.
母の家の近くの図書館でやっていたいいイベントだったよ。
